Industrial rope access

When the work is high and the footprint is tight

Rope access is a controlled method of getting competent people to a workface that scaffold, EWP or crane cannot economically serve. Specified as part of the access package — not a last-minute workaround.

The method that fits the asset.

Western Australia does not reward over-built access. A full scaffold on a stack, conveyor gallery, tank shell or remote plant can burn hire days before the first bolt is turned.

Rope access puts a small, ticketed crew on the task with a rescue plan, a permit path and a clear demobilisation. Systems are planned against AS/NZS 1891 and industrial rope-access practice, with a nominated supervisor and dual-rope systems.

The same project desk that designs your scaffold owns the rope package — one set of drawings, one program, one invoice.

Rope access services

Inspection, maintenance and construction tasks at height — metro Perth through remote WA.

Structural inspection

Visual and assisted inspection of steelwork, concrete, cladding, handrails, walkways and high-level plant. Condition reports the engineer can use, without standing a full scaffold for a two-day survey.

Plant and processing assets

Conveyors, transfer towers, crushers, screens, stacks, silos, tanks and pipe racks. Access during live operations or shutdown windows where ground space and isolation time are limited.

Maintenance at height

Change-out of fittings, lighting, mesh, cladding, signage and small structural members. Welding, mechanical and coatings trades can work from the same system when the task is scoped that way.

Facades and restricted sites

High-rise and commercial envelopes, atrium voids, bridges and structures where street closures or a full perimeter scaffold would stall the program.

Confined-space support

Entry support and rescue standby for tanks, vessels, chutes and shafts. Rope controls the person and the retrieval path — it does not replace a confined-space plan.

Campaign and remote work

FIFO and regional mobilisation across the Goldfields, Pilbara and Kimberley. Small crew, small freight, short duration — built for shutdown calendars.

Choose the method. Do not default to the yard.
